Grant Isaac

With 16 years of experience in executive roles at Cameco, Grant's responsibilities have spanned almost the entire scope of the business. Grant joined Cameco as senior vice-president, corporate services in July 2009, was appointed to senior vice-president and CFO in July 2011, followed by the appointment to executive vice-president and CFO in February 2023. In September 2025, Grant was appointed to president and chief operating officer. As president and chief operating officer, Grant will provide executive oversight for all Cameco operations, exploration and corporate development. Grant also continues to provide executive oversight for Cameco's commercial and financial strategy including global marketing, corporate strategy and effectiveness and sustainability and stakeholder relations. Prior to joining Cameco, he was a professor at the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan beginning in 2000 and was appointed as the Dean of the Edwards School of Business in 2006.

Grant received a BA (economics) and an MA (economics) from the University of Saskatchewan and a PhD from the London School of Economics.
