Meghan is responsible for leading the legal support for CIBC’s global Capital Markets’ businesses in the region. Meghan also acts as CIBC’s representative Board member for two innovative market infrastructure initiatives which focus on tokenisation and blockchain technology, Fnality International Limited and Carbonplace Limited. She is dual qualified as a solicitor in Australia and England and Wales with over 15 years’ experience working in both private practice with King & Wood Mallesons and Herbert Smith Freehills, as well as within financial institutions including Lloyds Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. Before moving to London in 2011, Meghan acted in a pro bono role in Cambodia supporting the Civil Party Lawyers in the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia.
