He's done so since dot.com & has focussed on investing in quantum technology for the last 4 years - with Quantum Exponential currently having eight portfolio companies. He works hard to improve the quantum ecosystem via mentoring with Creative Destruction Lab, Insitute of Physics and NATO DIANA. He's impressed by the academic and engineering excellence in play to enable a quantum future & retains a layman's curiosity as to how best to understand & work with nature in its smallest form. Before working in venture capital he studied at London Business School & Loughborough University, worked in development finance in East Africa and served as an Infantry Officer in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.
